Hole #11

The signature par 5 at GCI, the monstrous Hole Number 11 demands three well hit shots to reach the green. Once the longest hole in the US at 678 yards from the tips, this hole is well mounded on the left with out of bounds guarding the right. Needless to say, par is a great score on this hole.

Hole #12

Narrow and intimidating, the par 4 Hole Number 12 is a great test of a golfer's skill. With a water hazard and bunker on the left, and mounds and out of bounds to the right, this tee shot must be accurate. Make sure your approach shot does not run long into the high grass over this two tiered green.

Hole #13

Check the wind before teeing off on this treacherous par 3. Balls short and left will find the lake, shots to the right will find a sandtrap, and mistakes over the green will settle in the high grass. A severely sloped green from back to front offers an additional challenge to every golfer.

Hole #14

This par 4 demands the best from each golfer. An accurate, long tee shot is a must to this fairway, guarded on the left and right by high grass mounds and bunkers. A precise shot to a green with seven bunkers encircling it rewards the skilled player with a score and an experience to remember.

Hole #15

This uphill par 5 that may be reachable in two depending on the placement of the tee shot. The green has three tiers and is well guarded by five spacious bunkers. A birdie is a possibility here - but so is bogey if one is careless.

Hole #16

A short, tight par 4 easily reachable with a short iron if the tee shot is placed in the fairway. Keep the driver in the bag on this hole and you should have a birdie opportunity.

Hole #17

Check the pin placement on Hole Number 17, and check the yardage before hitting to a three tiered green surrounded by six bunkers. Take your par on this hole if you can, and be pleased as you move on to the final hole.

Hole #18

The final hole at GCI requires an accurate wood or iron shot to a narrow landing area. Once there, the player is faced with a mid to short iron into the shallowest green on the course. Control the distance on your approach and you may have an opportunity for a birdie on this tricky green.
